Time is running out to join us at Reading and Leeds Festival next week!
And catch new headliner The 1975, alongside a packed line up of Billie Eilish, The Killers, Sam Fender, Imagine Dragons, Foals and so many more! 🔥 🔥
We've been lucky to see The 1975 a couple of times over the last few years and they always put on an incredible show! 😍
When you join us we make sure you have plenty of time off-shift to enjoy the festival guaranteeing at least two of the main festival evenings off to watch the bands!
Once you've applied, you'll be able to select your shift preferences - meaning if there's a particular artist you want to see you can choose your shifts around them! With over 20 different shift patterns to choose from, even as a later applicant you'll have lots of choice to work your shifts around your favourite bands! 🎶
We refund the deposit you pay to confirm your place in full after the festival - we don't take any admin fees, so if you pay your deposit to confirm your place today, you'll get it refunded in FULL in September! This way, you can experience everything Reading and Leeds has to offer and see some awesome bands without it costing you a penny!
There are a limited number of spaces left at Reading and Leeds, so if you're thinking of coming along, apply now to avoid missing out!
It's totally normal to be anxious about coming to a festival, particularly if you're thinking of coming solo! We get hundreds of messages every year from people wanting to join us but nervous about doing it, so we promise you're not alone! We're a very friendly bunch so if there's anything we can do to reduce your anxiety please get in touch! For example, you could try joining our Facebook Group to make friends with other volunteers before the festival. There are even some super active WhatsApp groups that have been set up and filled with staff and volunteers chatting away!
If there is anything you would like to ask or you would just like to chat with us about, the easiest way is to...
You can connect with us @hotboxevents on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
If you would like to chat with others who have joined us before head to our Facebook Group and Forum
On Facebook and in our Forum you will find new and returning staff and volunteers chatting about what it is like to join us at festivals, arranging to share lifts, asking and answering questions about working at festivals and making new friends!
If you have not joined us at a festival before and are wondering what it is like, check out some of our staff and volunteer interviews!
In the interviews you will get to hear from those who have joined us talking about how they found their shifts, how they felt they were looked after by the Hotbox team, what it was like working solo for the first time, taking on more responsibility year on year, and even how the experience and confidence gained has helped with career progression away from festivals!
Another way to see what joining us is like is to check out some of our festival photos!
In our festival photo galleries, you will find thousands of photos covering our festival history over the past twenty years!
