Applications are now open to join our paid event staff team at 2023 festivals! 🎉
We're looking for positive, friendly people to join us as Zone Supervisors this summer. You'll be leading a team of up to 20 volunteers in your zone, making sure all our volunteers are having the best experience possible on shift and working closely with other onsite agencies to make sure the festival's ticketholders are having a safe and enjoyable time. 🙌
We have a handful of Zone Supervisor spots available on the 'Late Shift' (16:00 - 01:00) or 'Night Shift' (00:00 - 09:00) at Download, Reading and Leeds. Our Zone Supervisors are required to arrive onsite on the Tuesday and will work the same shift every day from Wednesday - Monday. These are paid positions, and you'll also receive two meal vouchers per shift to use at crew catering (gross wage £528.75 per festival, or £592.57 including holiday pay for those on PAYE).

Whether you've got bucketloads of experience and are looking to get stuck into a new challenge, or you've volunteered with us before and want to take on a more senior role, this is your opportunity! Due to their experience and contacts gained working with Hotbox Events, many of our staff have move on to work for major companies in the live event industry like Festival Republic and Live Nation, so joining us in a staff role this summer is a great way to gain an insight into how large-scale events are run and open doors for a career in the festival industry! 🎪
Lots of our event staff work multiple events with us each summer, and then return year after year – you'll meet staff at events this year who started out with us back in 2003! Our staff team is a great community which we're endlessly proud of and is super welcoming to new team members – you'll never be short of someone to go and see a band with before your shift! 🎶

It's totally normal to be anxious before coming to a festival, particularly if you're coming solo! We get hundreds of messages every year from people wanting to join us but nervous about doing it, so we promise you're not alone! We're a very friendly bunch so if there's anything we can do to reduce your anxiety please get in touch!
