Can you help us out with something?
As you may remember if you joined us this summer, we upgraded our Hotbox Events crew wristbands to lovely fabric ones, made from recycled plastic bottles with a bamboo clasp. However, disaster struck at one event when our wristbands were deemed too similar in design to one of the festival's own wristbands, so we weren't allowed to use them 🙁 Instead, we ended up using paper wristbands, which didn't last very long!
So, we have a cunning plan to ensure our wristbands don't suffer the same fate again...we're going to order lots of different designs in the hope that we'll always have at least one or two that are different enough from the festival's wristbands!
Now, onto where you come in...
To ensure that there's no way our wristbands could possibly be similar to the festival's, we need lots and lots of different designs. The bolder, the more unusual, and the more out-there, the better!
And who better to think up lots and lots of different designs than the creative, and eclectic Hotbox staff and volunteers?!
You don't need to be an artist we just need some ideas of cool things to put on wristbands! You can either have a go at designing the wristband yourself (you can find a template here), or just pop us a message or email with your ideas and we'll have a bash at bringing them to life ourselves.
Please avoid coming up with festival-specific designs, as we want wristbands we can use at any festival.
So perhaps think of less festival-specific things...
Maybe a cow print wristband 🐮 or one covered in frogs 🐸

It's totally normal to be anxious before coming to a festival, particularly if you're coming solo! We get hundreds of messages every year from people who are keen to join us but nervous about coming alone, so we promise you're not...alone! We're a very friendly bunch and if there's anything we can do to reduce your anxiety, please get in touch! You can also join our Facebook Group to make friends with others before the festival. Within this group you will also find links to some volunteer-led WhatsApp groups that have been set up!
