We've been receiving lots of questions about paid event jobs at Latitude Festival, so we're pleased to let you know that you can now apply to join us as a paid facilities monitor or tower steward!
The arrival dates and shift times for each job vary, so please ensure you read the descriptions below carefully before applying!
Our Latitude Festival paid tower stewards work 4x 8-hour shifts, working one shift each day. Our tower stewards can be found working at the watch towers around festival site. Pay is £12.89 per hour including holiday pay (for those on PAYE) plus one meal voucher per shift to use at crew catering.
The Latitude Festival tower steward role includes:
To work as a tower steward it is essential you are comfortable working at height and climbing ladders.
Tower Stewards are required to arrive onsite on Wednesday 24th July and attend an onsite briefing at 7pm Wednesday evening.
There are 11 different tower steward shift patterns to choose from, each shift pattern contains 4x 8-hour shifts.
There are also a small number of shift patterns which have an extra shift on Wednesday 24th July. If you select and are allocated one of these shift patterns you will be required to arrive onsite on Tuesday 23rd July to attend an onsite briefing at 7pm Tuesday evening before your first shift on the Wednesday.
Our Latitude Festival paid facilities monitors work 3x or 4x 6-hour shifts, working one shift each day. Pay is £12.89 per hour including holiday pay (for those on PAYE) plus one meal voucher per shift to use at crew catering.
We should clarify one thing before we explain the role, the job absolutely does not involve cleaning any toilets!
So what is a facilities monitor?
Think of those times you've been at a festival and needed to pop to the toilet, only to find them all out of order, or with no loo roll, or out of hand sanitiser. We're on a mission to improve those experiences!
And we need you to help us make sure every toilet trip at Latitude Festival is as pleasant as possible! ✨
Your mission will be to make sure the Latitude Festival toilet blocks are in tip top condition, reporting anything that needs fixing, cleaning, or restocking ASAP to the festival's designated toilet crew, then making sure it gets sorted so that no toilets are out of action 👍
Again, we should remind you, you're not required to clean the toilets yourself at any time! There's another team onsite just for that! ✅
We're looking for people who are happy working independently at a location within the festival campsites or arena. As always, you'll have the support of the Hotbox team around you for any questions and assistance.
You'll need to be responsible and committed to the mission of lovelier loos at Latitude. You'll need to be confident with radio usage (full training will be provided at the beginning of the festival) as you'll be tasking the toilet cleaning crews directly when there's a problem that needs fixing, then taking the initiative to follow up until the issue is resolved.
Facilities Monitors work 6-hour shifts each day and are paid £12.89 per hour including holiday pay (for those on PAYE). Facilities monitors also receive one meal voucher per shift to use at crew catering.
