If you keep up with our socials, you may have spotted snippets from interviews filmed at last summer's festivals popping up over the past few weeks...
Before asking you to take a look...because we're super proud of them! We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who allowed us to follow them around with a camera at last summer's Download and Latitude! We realise that being bugged by a cameraman probably isn't what you expected when you signed up to join us, so we really appreciate you taking the time to chat about your experience. We think more than anything else, the new interviews give those who haven't volunteered with us before an amazing insight into what joining the Hotbox team is like!

If you've not volunteered at a festival before, in the new films you'll get to hear from volunteers who have joined us talking about how they found their shifts, how they were looked after by the Hotbox team, what it was like volunteering for the first time on their own, taking on more responsibility year on year and progressing from a volunteer to staff role, and even how the experience and confidence gained has helped with their career progression away from festivals!
If you were filmed and can't see your full interview yet, don't worry, we came away with a huge amount of footage so there are more to come! And for those wondering why just Latitude and Download, because this year the cameras will be coming to Reading and Leeds!
Hotbox volunteer applications for this summer's Latitude, Download, Reading and Leeds Festival opened just a few weeks ago and the response throughout February has been fantastic! We've never received as many applications in the first month as we have this year – so a massive thank you to everyone who has applied to join us – we can't wait to welcome you to the Hotbox team this summer!
If you're yet to apply to volunteer this summer it's quick and easy to sign-up now!
We confirm positions within 24 hours of a deposit being paid, often within the hour, so if you apply and pay your deposit now, you'll receive a confirmation that you have a place volunteering at Download, Latitude, Reading or Leeds today!
You need to pay a refundable security deposit to volunteer but when volunteering with Hotbox Events you only need to pay 1 deposit to volunteer at as many festivals as you like!
Deposits are returned within 30 days of the last day of a festival, if you've volunteered with us before your deposit is discounted by 35%, and there are no admin fees charged on deposits so you receive your entire deposit back as long as you complete all of your shifts!
You can choose the shifts you prefer before the festival and we'll confirm your shifts in advance, so you know when you'll be volunteering and can plan your festival schedule!

If you're thinking about volunteering but not sure about doing it on your own don't worry, every year more than half of the 3,000 volunteers who join us do so on their own the first time and then return year on year to meet up with friends they've made volunteering!
