A massive thank you to our brilliant 2019 BBC Live in Hyde Park staff!
2019 was Hotbox Events' second year working with BBC Live in Hyde Park, last year we had a small team of just 10 staff running the disabled access minibuses, so we were excited to head back to London in 2019 with a team of over 60 staff working across BBC Proms in the Park on the Saturday and BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park on the Sunday!
The feedback we received throughout BBC Live in Hyde Park from members of the public, the event's mystery shoppers and management team, zone managers and other agencies we work with was nothing less than exceptional! Absolutely everyone you worked with throughout the weekend was over the moon with your work. We received an endless stream of praise for your positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude to make sure that everyone you interacted with at BBC Live in Hyde Park had the best possible weekend, felt safe, and received the help they required.
A big thank you to our new stewarding teams at BBC Live in Hyde Park! Our ingress stewards played a crucial role in the direction and assistance of the public arriving at the event; resulting in a much smoother operation and the reduction of queuing times at the arena entrance. Our arena stewards then followed this with a fantastic level of customer service across the event; making sure that once through the gate everyone attending BBC Live in Hyde Park had their queries answered in a timely and friendly fashion!
Another big thank you to our BBC Live in Hyde Park disabled access minibus drivers! It was great to see some of our drivers from last year's event return and welcome some new drivers for 2019 to the Hotbox team! You again did a brilliant job, providing a friendly, welcoming and extremely efficient shuttle bus service for the event's disabled access customers. The positive feedback on the service from both the public and the event was lovely to receive!
The BBC Live in Hyde Park audience has very high expectations of everyone working at the event and you all more than lived up to those expectations; particularly in the way you dealt with any problems the event's attendees experienced; making sure you did your very best to assist and overcome any bumps in the road throughout the weekend.
We'd like to send out a special thank you to everyone who assisted the Met Police with crowd control on the Sunday, and another to everyone who assisted with the musical chairs at Park Lane Garden!
