A huge thank you to our amazing 2019 Download Festival Dog Squad staff and volunteers!
2019 was our third year at Download so now very much feeling part of the team we couldn't wait to head back to Donington Park for this summer's festival! It was fantastic to be back and to welcome our now regular Download Dog Squad staff and volunteers, plus all of you who joined us for the first time this year!
On arriving at Download, and for the duration, there is no getting around the fact that...it was wet, to say the least! Wet and muddy festivals bring with them a huge amount of additional challenges and make even the simple jobs more complicated as the weather does its best to suck away all of our energy and enthusiasm.
Despite this, the feedback we've received from the Download Festival organisers and other agencies we work with has been bursting with thanks for your efforts; your above and beyond attitude making sure that everyone you interacted with at the festival had the best possible week, felt safe, and received the assistance they required.
It was inspiring for us to see how enthusiastic you were throughout our time at Download; your seemingly endless passion for the festival and everyone attending never failing to make us smile!

Your feedback is a big help to those thinking of joining us in in future years; giving an idea of what working at a festival with Hotbox Events is like, so please do get in touch if you can!
We're already planning for next year and your suggestions are always taken into consideration; many of which help us to improve both our service to the festival goers and the experience for our staff and volunteers. So, if you do have any comments - good or bad - please don't hesitate to get in touch. We realise nothing is perfect so please don't be afraid of having a moan if there is something you'd like us to take into consideration for 2020!

If you'd like to join us again this summer, we still have spaces available at Latitude Festival and Camp Bestival in July, plus Reading Festival and Leeds Festival in August!
