Record-breaking year for Download, Latitude, Reading and Leeds festival volunteering!

Friday, February 23, 2018

We opened 2018 volunteer applications for Download Festival, Latitude Festival, Reading Festival and Leeds Festival just 3 weeks ago and have already received over 2,500 festival volunteering applications! This makes 2018 a record-breaking year for us so a huge thank you to everyone who has already applied to join us this summer!

If you're yet to apply don't worry, we still have lots of places available at all the festivals!

If you have a Hotbox Events PAAM account, you can login and apply now!

If not, it's quick and easy to sign-up!

You need to pay a refundable security deposit to volunteer but as always, when volunteering with Hotbox Events one deposit covers you for as many festivals as you'd like to volunteer at, in other words...

You only need to pay 1 deposit to volunteer with Hotbox at as many festivals as you like!

Plus, we don’t charge any admin fees on deposit returns so you get your entire deposit back as long as you complete all of your shifts!

And the great news for 2018 is that deposits will be heading back to you faster, that they’re now less for returning volunteers, and there are no card fees to pay!

You can find out more about the deposit changes for 2018 here.

Please remember that the earlier you apply and pay your deposit the more likely you are to get your top choice of shifts at the festivals!

We confirm positions within 24 hours of a deposit being paid Mon-Fri, often much sooner, so if you apply and pay your deposit now you’ll receive a confirmation that you have a place volunteering at Download, Latitude, Reading or Leeds within the next few hours!

If you've not volunteered at a festival before and you're wondering what it's like our festival FAQs are packed full of answers to the questions we're regularly asked, plus lots of handy hints and tips about volunteering at festivals.

If you'd like to chat with others who have volunteered with us before you can head over to our festival forum where you'll find both new and returning volunteers chatting about what it's like to volunteer at festivals, arranging to share lifts, asking and answering questions about volunteering at festivals...

If you're thinking about volunteering but not sure about doing it on your own don't worry, every year around half of the volunteers who join us do so on their own the first time and then return year on year to meet up with friends they've made volunteering!

If you'd like to see what volunteering is like you can head to our festival photo galleries where you'll find thousands of photos of our volunteers having an amazing time whilst volunteering with us!

If there is anything you'd like to ask or you'd just like to chat with us about volunteering, please don't hesitate to email or call the office or get in touch via one of our social channels!

See you at Download, Latitude, Reading and Leeds!
