A massive thank you to our awesome 2018 Download Festival Dog Squad!
2018 was our second year at Download and it was brilliant to see so many familiar faces returning to join us, and welcome everyone joining the Dog Squad for the first time!
The feedback from Download Festival has once again been fantastic! We received praise throughout the week for the hard work and professionalism of our staff and volunteers from the event organisers and other agencies we work with at Download.
The Accessibility Team has asked us to pass on a special thank you for the help and support you provided to the disabled access festival goers.
In addition, the help you provided festival goers requiring welfare support and medical attention was outstanding - assisting the dedicated welfare and medical teams when their resources were most stretched.
It was brilliant to see how enthusiastic you were to help the Download festival goers throughout the week, the above and beyond attitude of our staff and volunteers was inspiring and never failed to make us smile!
A big thank you for your patience when arriving at the festival, the checks and security measures are important to implement so your understanding whilst waiting to be checked in and shuttled to the campsite was very much appreciated. A special thank you to all those who formed part of the walking bus, it was quite a sight to behold!

Your feedback is a big help to those thinking of joining us in in future years; giving an idea of what working at a festival with Hotbox Events is like, so please do get in touch if you can!
We're already planning for next year and your suggestions are always taken into consideration; many of which help us to improve both our service to the festival goers and the experience for our staff and volunteers. So, if you do have any comments - good or bad - please don't hesitate to get in touch. We realise nothing is perfect so please don't be afraid of having a moan if there is something you'd like us to take into consideration for 2019!

If you'd like to join us again this summer we still have spaces available at Latitude Festival in July, RiZE Festival, Reading Festival, and Leeds Festival in August!
