2014 has been another record year for Hotbox Events, from the scorching heat at Latitude Festival to the endless nights at the Reading and Leeds festivals!
Once again our staff and volunteer teams grew in number and we gave it our all to help make the events a huge success.
We've received very positive feedback and thanks from Festival Republic following our support at Latitude, Reading and Leeds in 2014. In addition, many of the organisations we worked with onsite this year have been very complimentary about the overall attitude of our staff and volunteers.
It's a pleasure to see so many people, both new and returning really get involved in their volunteering role with us. It makes all the hard work and planning worth it!
At Latitude Festival we had additional responsibilities across the site in 2014, many of which involving completely new positions for Hotbox Events. There were a few learning curves along the way but given the breadth of our responsibilities, we were very pleased with how the Hotbox Events team adopted the new roles and performed onsite. So well done and a big thank you for all of your help!
At Leeds, the addition of a second minibus and our fantastic minibus drivers meant we were ever-present on the roadways! Working closely with our fantastic campsite volunteers, our tower volunteers at both Latitude and Leeds performed exceptionally well, come rain or shine!
In 2014 the Hotbox Events office benefitted from the introduction of the new PAAM Onsite App and additional staffing for the office; many of our returning volunteers noticing a big reduction in check-in times. This was particularly noticeable at Reading, where the queues were rarely longer than 30 people! So another big thank you to all of our office managers who supported our staff and volunteers so well across all of the events.
As each year passes, the Hotbox Events team grows bigger and stronger. Your hard work and enthusiasm make that possible, so one final huge thank you for being a part of our team!
