Are you missing yesterday's sun? We are! Hopefully it's a sign of an amazing summer on its way!
All at Hotbox have been very busy this week with festival volunteer applications pouring in for Latitude, Reading and Leeds since we opened on Monday - over 2,000 applications in the first 2 days! Don't worry if you're yet to apply and pay your festival deposit - there are still lots of positions left. We only offer a position once a deposit has been paid (not everyone who applies follows up their application with a deposit to secure their position).
Being still a few months away from our first festival of the summer we've all been chatting about how good it'd be to head into a sun filled festival arena - if you're feeling the same head over to the PAAM Event Software Blog!
Even though the weather has been sunny these last few days, it's not quite warm enough to be getting the shorts out, so where are the best festivals to head to if your looking for non-stop sun, sea and perhaps a glass or two of sangria.
Traditionally the best beach festivals are to be found near the Mediterranean in Spain and in recent years a couple of notable festivals cropping up in Croatia.
One place you might not have thought of for a summer beach festival is Norway! Hovefestivalen takes place in July on Tromoya Island. You'll certainly be catching plenty of rays as the sun only sets for 2 hours each day.
If variety is what you're after then get yourself over to Hungary in August for the Sziget Festival that has over 60 stages to choose from!
