Thank you to everyone who completed Neil Mackey's Ticket Touting survey in June. Unfortunately the company that supplied the online survey system for Neil had a problem with its database and lost a lot of survey results, including Neil's. The results are an integral part of Neil's PhD research so this is a huge blow for Neil.

All survey responses are anonymous. The results may be used in conference presentations, journal articles and published in the final PhD findings.
If you've volunteered with Hotbox Events as a festival steward or worked as part of our event staff at the Leeds Festival or Latitude Festival you've probably been briefed by and possibly even worked with Festival Republic's Deputy Security Coordinator Neil Mackey. Neil is currently working towards his PhD at Lincoln University; researching customer attitudes and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the law in relation to illicit activities at UK Festivals and Cultural Event sites connected to Ticket Touting and the unauthorised sale of tickets on site by touts at events.
