As the first festival of the season approaches it's time to turn our thoughts towards keeping the festivals as clean as possible. We received praise from organisers festival republic for how clean and tidy our campsite's were left in 2008 and we hope to do the same again this year.
Unfortunately not everyone at the festivals kept the same standards as ourselves and so it is now becoming a part of event contracts.
Please do have a read through and make every effort to keep ours clean, this includes removing litter from cabins, tents, tent pegs, fire pits, caravan gas bottles, drinks cans, plastic bags, food... Working Areas should be clear of commercial waste including all tent pegs, flooring, stillages, water pipes, cables, carpet, rope, paint tins, timber and so on...

The most important thing for festival goers and our staff is tidy up after yourselves and recycle as much of your rubbish as you possibly can.
If you have any innovative ideas about being green you'd like to share with us and other volunteers, there are a few environmental topic s on the forum for you to contribute to.
