At the 2008 Reading Festival all CAT and HAT volunteers aged 18-25 years will have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised award. Please find more info about vinvolved below, we'll also provide further info within your CAT and HAT info packs which you'll receive 1-4 weeks prior to the event, and at the on-site volunteer briefings.
vinvolved Reading is managed by The Berkshire Association of Clubs for Young People.
vinvolved has been set up to inspire a new generation of 16 - 25 year olds to get involved in volunteering and community action.
We're committed to enabling a lasting change in the quality, quantity and diversity of youth volunteering. Our aim is to create a culture where it is natural for young people to volunteer, and natural for organisations to support them in doing so, because the benefits of volunteering are widely understood and celebrated.
Since the 2nd April 2008, 107 vinvolved teams, located in every region, have been signposting young people to inspiring opportunities to contribute to their communities.
