I am travelling from Edinburgh to Latitude festival. I can get from Edinburgh as far as London, arriving at Victoria Station on either the Tuesday or Wednesday morning at around 7.30am. However, I am stumped on how to get from London to the event! Can anybody help me with links for booking travel tickets, or possibly pick me up? I'm happy to pay for my share of the petrol etc.
Please get back to me ASAP, I don't want to have to cancel my position!

From London you need to make yourway to either Diss or Halesworth train station. Or if you get in touch with M13UGS on here he maybe able to help you.
If you can't get a lift then train from Liverpool Street to Halesworth where there will be a staff bus from 18:00 on Tuesday or 12:00 Weds. see http://www.hotboxevents.com/news/single/587/2011-Latitude-Festival---Staff-Shuttle-Bus/
the cost is about £20 if you buy two single tickets
-a return costs over £40 :-(
Check out the lift thread though, it seems to be currently inhabited by Scots travelling South.
Chris, I've sent you an eMail. please let me know if you need a lift. I'm leaving Tuesday morning at 09.00am, so if you can get to Kings Cross or Euston for that time, then we're in business.
Let me know soonest.
Cheers.
I'm getting the train on the Wednesday. And my train from London leaves Liverpool Street at 12:00 exactly for Ipswich, then change for a train to Halesworth.
