As a first time volunteer (at Reading 2014) - I was a bit apprehensive going by myself but soon made friends as everyones in the same boat. Enjoyed the luxuries of staff camping like hot showers and tea! It was a great way of experiencing the festival from behind the scenes and meeting new people.
