Hello CATs,
This is not an official or formal CAT Reunion, but there may possibly be a few of the festival team (a 'litter' of CATs perhaps?) meeting up for a couple of bowls of milk somewhere in the alleys of Southampton on 11 November 2006... Does anyone fancy coming along and joining in?
Southampton is pretty easy to get to on the train and there are plenty of hotels/B+B's... Or if you're lucky and know a someone who lives in Southampton you may be able to reserve a piece of their CAT basket!
The mini-reunion is not confirmed yet, so currently there are no details of the pub(s) we will mark our territory in, but I thought I'd post something on here to see if there is interest from any of the CATs... Post a reply to this message if you are interested and I will send details of the time/place if anything takes place.

i know a fairly suitable pub route....
- stile nr uni
- talking heads
- some pub i don't know the name of
- and another one
- wetherspoons
- the george
- the hobbit
- sobar
- end in the dungeon (hereby referred to as \"the Dinge\")
the dinge is all metal music on the saturday
if you wanted indie, nexus (aka nexarse) might be better, but that's in town so would have to change the route.
or unit 22 is indie too but that's whole nuvva mission, but probs better than nexarse.
the unit 22 route goes as such:
- pub nearest to your bus/coach/house
- get bus to town, often with \"happy cola/sprite/bevvy of choice\"
- giddy bridge, london road
- old fat cat (although it sucks a bit in there these days)
- square balloon (good shots)
- next are the pubs that have least chavs in which takes you to the end of the high street
- standing order
- stroll to unit
-lots of dancing
if you're a student, take your student card for 50% off on the door
if not, take your old student id, or even join - it's free and gets you 50% off!!
nexarse route is pretty much the same but swap bad chavvy pubs for fire house.
metal music covers ears
i say reflex mate! i can so see tavis jammin on an inflatable guitar to mj...
then you could do giddy bridge-varsity-avondale house and anywhere else good you know of in between? :P

Great idea, great place, lousy date though! It's my son's 18th Birthday weekend, so, I'm afraid I will only be with you in spirit ( scotch, gin, brandy, whatevers available! ).
Much debauchery and caterwauling I hope, and lots of pictures for the rest of us to be jealous of!!

CATs MINI-REUNION:
Venue: Varsity, 67-75 London Road, Southampton
Date: Saturday, 11 November 2006
Time: 20:00 until the early hours (venue subject to change periodically)!
So far there are a few CATs confirmed, so it should hopefully develop into a good night of reminiscence and possibly making moves to grooves in a nightclub later. If anyone is attending please add my mobile number to your phones - Just in case you arrive a little later to find that we have already got bored and changed pubs!
My mobile was in the Reading CAT Pack - But if you no longer have that or if you are a Leeds CAT that wants to attend then please IM me before 17:00 on Friday, 10th November and I will forward it to you.
I hope to see you in Southampton (I suspect that this will not be the last of the mini-reunions, so please keep an eye on the Forum... Or why not organise a mini-reunion for CATs in another town?).
