Well I've looked at the website about the roles of a CAT but they seem to be pretty careful to say \"may include\" and generally a bit ambiguous about what being a cat is actually like. This slightly scaring me. So from any previous CATs, whats like the worst thing you had to do as a CAT? Anything horrible i should be aware of? :)
Also whats the best shifts to do? I'm thinking of doing three night shifts so i can see all the music. Depending on further line up announcements, is this a good idea? Also do i get to be one of the guys who rides around on the back of a quad bike on Sunday night putting out fires? that looked awesome :)

you do one early 8-4 one late 4-midnight and one night midnight till 8. These are set, they are on different patterns so choose best one when you get there. Unfortuantly no quad bikes are used by cats however if required and you feel comfortable you may have to put out some small fires.
the stuff you do depends on the public and on your shift. for example, youre more likely to be carrying luggage and pitching tents if you work on the wednesday/thursday/monday daytime because thats when most people are arriving or leaving
There is now the option to work just night shifts at Reading only - please select the option on your PAAM application form.
if you choose to work these night shifts which nights will they be?
Yet to be confirmed.
ok i am interested but am going to wait till the days are confirmed to work the nights
