Anyone know if its worth me bringing (and thus buying) something to cook on? last yr we cooked sausages on the one disposeable bbq we had and lived on cold sausage sandwiches for the next 3 days.... not the best thing in the world. so.... is it worth me buying a camping stove type thingy, or is anyone else bringing similar that i can sit around and scab off of with u! (i'd buy nice food 2 share! :o))

yep it is worth it if you want to save a little money instead of buying food, not sure what fest you are working but at Leeds we have our own cafe which i,m sure will be the same at reading too ..meals are great and really cheap too..different menus etc and an awesome full english for about
£2.50.Last year i took food to cook etc and brought most of it home as we ate out

I searched for this in the fact sheets about what to bring and i could,nt find it..Can i suggest whatever festival you are working, try and bring a pair of strong waterproof comfortable ankle boots for walking round in whilst you are working .I bought a pair of cat boots for last year and they were brilliant as i covered a fair few miles over the shifts, they really saved my feet then i just used trainers for going to see the bands in etc.

Hey ya already on my msn, but if ya goin and wanna get food, i have loadsa gas for my stove, and can share with one person but not everyone, there iws a little cafe and bar in the staff area which is cheaper then the normal ones, but its still gonna be expensive.....
Im going to take the dolmio pasta sachet thingys with the sauces coz there nice quick easy and fill ya up. It may be worth taking food for ya whilst ya working, coz ya bound to get hungry!
