Hi Everyone,
Just a quick question. Me and my friend did Leeds 2010 as CAT's, and Reading in 2011 as CAT's. We noticed the main difference was that in 2010 at Leeds we had a 5-10 Minute walk from the CAT campsite to the arena. Whereas in 2011 at Reading we had a 35 minute walk from the CAT campsite to the arena.
Does anyone know where the CAT campsite was in Leeds 2011??
Also does anyone know where the likley position of the CAT campsites will be at both sites in 2012???
It could be the reason we chose leeds over Reading in 2012.
Thanks!!

Leeds was the same field but different entrance so ended up being a slightly shorter walk than 2010 I would guess we will be in the same area this year
Thanks mate. Does anyone know if Reading will be any different in 2012???
Both the 2012 Leeds Festival and 2012 Reading Festival CAT Volunteer campsites are currently planned to be to be in the same place as 2011.
So for Leeds that's in the field next to the staff car park, just down the hill from the area know as the boneyard. It's not moved more than a couple of hundred yards in the past 10 years.
For Reading it'll be in White Zone - so over the river and yes a longer walk to the arena although from what I'm told there is a \"crew village\" set-up at Reading? Also there are various improvements planned for the Reading Festival 2012 staff area in White Zone including new crew catering! We'll let you know more as we do!
Does that mean CAT volunteers will be catered for 2012 in general?
At each festival there is a staff catering tent in the staff area that houses the CAT volunteer camping area. The CAT volunteers are not given meal vouchers but can get discounted staff vouchers from the Hotbox office.
is there staff parking at reeding
Yes - Crew parking is available adjacent to the crew camping areas in White.
