Problems on Wednesday

I worked last year as part of the CAT team in Leeds and I've applied to work this year as well. But something has come up that may require me to be busy during the Wednesday night when we are supposed to be registering etc. Do you reckon theres anyway i can round this? for example if someone else was to register for me/book my shifts and pick up my shirt etc etc? failing that is there a way I could do it via email or anything?
