It says that we must not walk from the parking area to the CAT area.

Does this mean there isn't a way of getting back to the car park to collect other items once you have got the minibus to the CAT area?

Just don't wanna end up leaving something heavy in the car and not being able to collect it later!

The reason for this is primarily that you won't have a pass until you've signed in.

Also - we don't want lots of lost staff and volunteers wondering about before they know where they are going.

Once you've signed in, got a pass and a map etc, you will be able to move around the site without a problem.

Those who have worked at Leeds before - please note no one can now walk past the landowners house - the big mansion with the tennis courts out front.

We're also trying to avoid lots of people walking through production / past backstage.

Thanks for clearing that up.

If we can't walk past the landowner's house...does that mean people working on Brown have to walk all the way through the rest of the site?

FR has hired a minibus for the CATs at Leeds this year - so you'll get a lift.

so everyone, no matter how you're getting there or which gate you arrive at, has to get in touch with jo/adam/steph to come and collect them right?

Just a quick update; I am off into Leeds tomorrow so will pick up a timetable and find out where the buses go from etc and try and get an idea of the details. Slightly off topic but back on topic just read the latest news post regarding Leeds and Tuesday arrivals.

Mark,

If it looks like there aren't more CATs arriving to make up a group of 10 how long should people leave it before getting in touch for the bus? (thinking about later arrivals on Tuesday).

Also, any chance of posting a copy of the map with the grid on it, they're referred to in the message but won't make any sense if you haven't got a map to refer to.

Waiting time when less than 10 CATs = 1 hour max, then call.

Posting of site map - no sorry. The reason for the grid references being included is so those arriving can ask a member of staff (e.g. on gate, in car park, in cabin etc) if lost - all those working should have a staff handbook (includes a map) and/or site map on them.

NB we now have 2 extra drivers for the minibus so waiting times shouldn't be too long...he says...
