yehh there will be, even if its chaining to the staff cabin. prob be a metal fence going round the campsite you could chain it up behind your tent

The official Latitude website has the following information for those travelling to the festival by bike:

\"There will be bike racks available onsite for cyclists at Green Gate 1A on the A145 and Yellow Gate 1 on the A12.

National Express East Anglia are discouraging festival goers to not travel by train with bikes as space is limited.\"

Kind regards,

Tavis

Ahhh Will, still biking around the country I see!

I considered getting a workhorse trike this year but had visions of it face deep in mud so maybe not...

Didn't want to start yet another thread on Latitude so hope this is ok here...

Do the listed working dates (16th-26th July) apply to everyone working traffic / stewarding? It seems a little long considering most will be gone by the 21st, or is there just a clean up team staying on longer? I ask because I will need to book advance train tickets so need to specify a return date.

Thankyou!
Jon

hi everyone,

i've never worked at a festival before but REALLY looking forward to it.

i'm coming from Manchester and think i've sorted getting there between 08:00 and 12:00 but i was also wondering about the leaving date. on PAAM it says i'm in the 'General' group and think its just litter staying till after the 21st..??

but can someone confirm that i can leave on the 21st??...

i just need to know so i can book travel home.

ALSO, anyone else coming from up north? mancs?

After looking at the info it seems only the litter team will stay on to the 26th but there will be other teams finishing before then. You should be ok as long as you get there on time you can let them know what better suits you. Last year I think most stayed on but a few did seem to leave.

argh.. ok so if i get there between the 8am and 12pm on the tuesday morning i should be able to let someone know that i'll be needing to leave at somepoint on the monday??

think i'll book travel and keep my fingers crossed!

thanks for the help =] x

when litter picking after this type of event it tends to be the more that can stay the better but there is many jobs like traffic that do end Monday.
