i've never been to latitude before so how does it compare to leeds/reading?

what are the food prices on site like? how close and how do you get to the nearest supermarket?

also, any antihistamene reccomendations as we've been advised to take them due to all the little critters

and any other tips?

food prices are general festival prices....it is a more chilled out festival compared to reading n leeds and nearest supermarket is about 30 min drive...there is an on site supermarker

Hi Jo

Just check with your GP/Chemist which are the best to take, unfortunately I am one of those that the little critters love and I am sure they send out the greeting party as soon as I arrive onsite :p

Supermarket wise, as Chris said there is one about 30 mins from site, but we have found there are a lot do go to buy goodies etc, a wink and a smile may just get you a lift ;)

Also the onsite catering at latitude is lovely and hopefully we will be doing the meal vouchers again at the discounted price.

those pack lunches were well worth the meal voucher! mine lasted all day! (though im sure dan gobbled his in about the first hour of the early shift...) is it the same people catering?

maybe if we don't like marmite it means we're bugs...

I LOVE Latitude, but also LOVE Reading...both for totally different reasons. Latitude is the perfect warm up for the season!

Rob mate, the marmite thing does work; but you don't eat it, you cover yourself in it!

So it's shower, then fake tan yourself in marmite. Been in vogue and everything.

Keeps the biting things away!

Keeps everything away!!!

i agree with mr wisby...wish it was first festy of the season

Marmite, mmmmmmm. Just wondering if Vegemite will work in the same way?

The Aussie Steak Sandwich place is the best food stall ever. Although apparently Reading get that stall as well, whereas Leeds dont :( £7 for the full works, well worth it (from a festival price- obviously wouldn't dfare buy it at that price from a general food stall).
