Hi
Ive applied for a CAT position and hoping that I will get the tickets I need for my daughters tomorrow. Will I need to buy early entry tickets for them as I know I will have to be there from Wednesday?
Any idea?
Thanks
Christine

Yes they will need the early bird tickets theres more information on the main website here http://www.leedsfestival.com
Thanks for that Jo. One other query, I see the early bird tix allow access from 1800 yet I am expected to be on site for the briefing at 1300. Will it be ok for them to come then?
Thanks
Early bird access is in the afternoon, from 1400hrs or as soon after that the campsite managers say so.
That is just the time that the didgeridooing people's campsite entrances open, which is from either the bus (ie on-foot) or weekend camping (red) gate, they can park up and queue ahead of time. Actually, its' quite amazing the FLOOD of kids running in to get their camp spot as soon as the gates open, you wouldn't expect so many so early! Staff vehicle entrance is on a different road, near the staff camping.
I wouldn't like to bet on you being able to bring the girls in through the staff entrance on the Wednesday but I have been able to bring my daughter and her mates back out to the staff car park on the Mondays to go home on each of the last two years - just speak nicely to the stewards covering the walkway along the moat/ditch before you fetch them.

We will be doing two briefings this year, one at 13.00 and another at 22.00 so you will be fine to attend the second one,As Julie said the staff entrance is in a different area to the ticket holders entrance, So you could drop the girls off then make your way to the staff entrance The early bird tickets allow early admission to site at 1400 on Wednesday
Hi
Right that seems wierd though as the CAT says you can bring 2 under 18s with you as long as they are looked after when you have shifts. Surely they must allow them in with you as otherwise how do you get them in?
I've got tickets now anyway for them so all systems go. Any idea who would give the official line on the entry of the girls?
Thanks
How old are your two daughters
They are 15
You can maybe see the girls get in ok through the ticket holders entrance then make your way to the staff entrance for booking in with the Cat teams
