Hi there, I've been flicking through the forum on Reading Festival (dot) com and someomen has posted this.... may want to bear this in mind.
------------
I live in Reading, and I just wanted to let you guys know...if you're driving to Reading, DON'T take Junction 10 off the M4, or try to come into Reading via the A4 (from Maidenhead) or A329 (from Wokingham).
They're resurfacing London Road (the main one-way street into town and towards the festival site) and won't be finished with it till after the Festival. Traffic has been snarled up there all week.
They may have finished by the time the Festival comes around, but the signs they've posted say they won't.
If you're coming via the M4, get off at Junction 11. It should be just as easy, and is just as close.

OR you can drive to Leeds where all the road improvements on the A1 and the roads around Bramham Park have finished and the road system is greatly improved!!!!

That's a good idea Amy, but it's a little out of the way for the Reading festival, and... why would I want to go to the Leeds one where it's destined for heavy rainfall.. to a level 7 out of 5 scale ?
