Aaarrggghhh...! What to do....?
I wanna do the festivals again this year... but... I'm off to Borneo in less than 3 weeks - [8D], initially going for 2 months [:D] but it could end up being longer (which I won't know until near the end of the 2 months.
Thing is, I will have virtually non-existant access to the internet, or very limited if any at all. [:(].. so if I do end up staying longer, it's more than likely that I'd have to cancel the festies or some of them anyway [V], but then it's gonna be difficult for me to cancel, given the very limited internet access.
What to do... ?
Is it possible that if I have to cancel one or two of them, that the deposit would still remain on the other one or two...?
I'm thinking Latitude, Big Chill and Reading.. but may have to cancel Latitude, still work Big Chill, possible have to cancel Reading.... or a combination of all three... (I may be heading off to Bali, Malaysia, Thailand during summer months... dive instructor you know, needs must [;)])
Hmmh... it's a tricky one... any sensible advice...??

Ahh Borneo is amazing. I went there when I was a kid for three months with a week in Malaysia. I didn't want to come back!! If ever there was a reason to miss out on the festivals, traveling there would be it.
At the very least, I would expect they'd want you to give appropriate telephone notice if you couldn't take up a place you'd been offered.Suggest you email Hotbox direct. I doubt there is a sensible or complete answer that they would want to post on the public forum.
Mark, I'll go to latitude for you, I wont have enough money for a deposit for a few weeks yet and places seem to be flying out. No one will be able tell the difference, they will just see one person less drinking all night!

Nice one Tony.... thing is.... what if you pick the shift that I don't want to work, and then you don't work it cos I wouldn't want to... then you got drunk alone in the morning after the night shift, then decided to stay awake all day long on your own cos I wasn't there to stay awake with you and then got drunk all day on your own...?
Not good really.... cos then for sure, I'd lose my deposit...! Or would it be your deposit...? Or 'our' deposit.... hmmmhmmmm...???
