hey all-
myself and my two friends are volunteering for reading and coming from los angeles. we're flying into heathrow and have a very vague idea as to how to get ourselves down to reading.
any advice on the cheapest ways (train, coach, etc)? and might anybody be driving past heathrow and want to pick up three girls with minimal bags and brutal accents?
either way, it'd be nice to touch base with some people who'll be there!

there's a rail-air bus that comes to Reading from Heathrow, http://www.railair.com/ for details. that'll get you to the train station. hope that helps!

argos.co.uk does a \"disposable tent\" for £9.99 ish! but you'd have to collect it in Reading when u get here cos they dont deliver abroad. you can reserve things online to be picked up instore. www.argos.co.uk

as far as i know...
not entirely sure what you mean, but if you're referring to all of the craziness w/ bomb plots on flights and whatnot... it's the flight back to la that i'm slightly spooked about...

ya, thats what i meant, but it should be ok, my dad flew out to miami today so planes bac are fine.....
There strict on what ya can take with ya but its all funky dory....

yeah... i mean... we're kinda nervous, but... c'est la vie.
so this question might be more for the moderators, but about these info packets... i'm not sure if they post them to the states, and i vaguely recall an email saying we could access PDF versions of them. is that what we should plan on doing?
