I'm tower Charlie! Will be working mostly on ground though. We've got the same shift pattern! :)

How do you know you'll be working mostly on the ground? Is there something I've missed here about shift organisation and responsibilities?!?!?!?

Well I'm short slighted and my glasses aren't done until next Thursday. So I emailed them and told them I can't really work on top of a tower and check for problems that are far away. They emailed me back and said the tower teams work on ground too :) won't be useful to have a blind chick looking for fights and fires, 5 meters above ground haha
