Maybe a bit of a strange one... (yes I know I am... thanks Tony, Rob.S, Amy B...) but I have a friend who lives in Sheffield and I'm trying to arrange a suitable place to meet her on Tuesday evening but I don't know Leeds at all... and nor does she... [:I]

She has offered to drive and meet me somewhere... but where..?

Can someone that knows Leeds City Centre recommend somewhere I can suggest we meet.. a Starbucks.. a Nero Cafe...a Bar... obviously I can't drink too much as I'll be driving... nor can I stay out too late as I'll be up at sparrow's fart for my morning shifts... [:p]

Sensible suggestions/comments only please.... (sorry Tony..)

Many thanks... Mini-bus Mark.. [;)]

As if I would say that LOL

And when has a morning shift ever stopped you staying up late lol

If you want somewhere dead obvious there is a large wetherspoons down Park Row just up from the main train station and a slightly smaller one in Millenium Square. These are about a dozen chain coffee shops and loads of little bars so its hard to really give you somewhere really obvious outside of those...

Cheers Rob, I'm always in bed at a reasonably early time... as I'm sure Tony would support...

Rich: Thanks for the suggestions, I'll google the Wetherspoons places and sort something out... out of interest, how far is the festival site from the City Centre.. I'd be driving to meet her, but wanted to guage how long it would take to drive there...

Depending on traffic its 15 20 minutes, parking in the centre is expensive before 6pm, afterwards its free if you can find a space ;)
