Hello there everyone.
I'm off to Reading on the Wednesday morning with 2 mates, we're all going to be CATs for the first time after years of just being punters at festivals, how very exciting!
We will be leaving from South London (Streatham area) early on the Wednesday morning (Aug 20th). I have a large estate car and therefore will be easily be able to accommodate 2 more folks with all their gear.
If anyone is interested please let me know. I'm keen to fill up the car and do my bit to be slightly greener, and if we split petrol between 5 it should be very cheap indeed.

Yo, liftshare sounds good, i'll be getting to london on the wed morning.. but there's only 1 of me, feel free to hold out to see if you can get a pair, but if not please let me know as i'd be glad for the lift, thanks,

Hello! I am arriving in London for the very first time on Sunday the 17th, I'm from Australia, and am working as a DCSS for Reading...am a little nervous about getting everything together, tents, sleeping bags, etc. in a new country!
A lift would be great if anyone has room, what time are you planning to arrive? I am going solo also. Will be staying at the Generator Hostel in Russell Square...

Hey Andy, whereabouts in Kent you from, I'm in Kent but just on the border with London!? I'm a DC at Reading, so need to get there on the tues 19th? what day were you planning on getting there, as a lift would be pretty cool. Happy to act as a wingman ... It's my first Reading too, but did Glasto earlier this year. x

I live in Orpington, just the other side of Swanley. Do you think I could get a lift? I can travel nearer to you to try and make it easier? Hi, given that it appears that CAT and indeed DCS teams are now expected to arrive on the Tuesday, I'm gonna travel down on Tuesday 19th rather than Wednesday 20th ...
I'm leaving Kings Cross / Euston area for around 11.00am ish... expecting to be at the festival site for about 12.30pm / 1.00pm ish...
I have a big car, Ford Galaxy (7 seater) BUT for all of our comfort, can take 3 plus our camping gear....
I have a SAT nav so no worries on getting lost. .. I am a careful driver.. ... ish.... only looking for a fair contribution towards fuel....
Our shifts permitting and co-inciding, happy to bring you back on the Monday.....
HOWEVER,,,, NO SOILED CLOTHING OR FOOTWEAR PERMITTED.
Absolutely no consumption of Drugs or any other intoxicating substances permitted en route....

I am from Kent and would like a lift at all possible. I am based in Rainham, Medway. I am willing to travel to anyone if it is a case they either live in Kent or London. I will didgeridoo my fair contribution towards petrol too.
