Ist timer at Reading and wondering if I've done the right thing, why? because I'm feeling just that tiny little bit older than most of you volunteers....
Having missed out on Festivals in my youth, but still having a liking for live music, I thought this would be a good way to help out and listen, but is a 40 year old still going to feel welcome? will I be just a little bit out of my depth? should I worry? I'm just looking to do my bit and listen to the music.
Are there any other oldies going to Reading? maybe we could start a book club!! or a card school (only joking!!!). Maybe we could just show the youngsters how to party.........

Everyone is made to feel welcome no matter what their age - And don't worry you are not the oldest applicant we have had! As long as you enjoy the festival atmosphere you will fit in!
